Really? He has another add saying he has betta's of every variety. Including KING! Okay while I dont think the vase is suitable for any variety unless it can be properly heated. It is NOT a good home for a King. And then a crab!? really?

It is small, and not heated, but at least he says it comes with food.

I wonder if he's aware that the fins and tails appear clamped? Or maybe he thinks they're supposed to look like that?

Me: "As a concerned citizen, I would like to point out that the bettas that you are selling cannot live properly in a vase. It is just too small of a space, sorry. Great price however! A large vase may do. The good people on bettafish.com are having a fit about it. I thank you for your time."

Him: "Oh thanks... But don't worry I have been meaning to take that ad down, plus the vases are actually built for bettas."

That was our conversation.

haha thats awesome wish i would have thought of that!

*rolls eyes* yes the vases may be meant for bettas but that doesnt mean they should live in them. Some people.

I think so. That vase is maybe $12 at Walmart? $4 for a crab, and then maybe $10 at most for a plant, no more than $13 (at my petsmart) for a betta.

That's only $39 and he's charging $50-$60.
