Female body shapes.

So this kind of struck me recently as I'm looking at my sorority....I'm pretty new when it comes to different female betta splendens body types....but (and forgive me if it's already a well-known fact) it seems that the long tailed females seem to have a slimmer & more curvaeous body. Whereas plakat females have a more rectangular & elongated body habitus.

Am I just stating the obvious here or has anyone else noticed this?

I didn't really think anything of it until you mentioned it.
Definitely true though!! My hmpk girls are definitely a lot hardier than the long taiked girls. Same goes for males too though, my pk's and hmpk's are a ton hardier than the CT's, HM, and VT I have!
