Bob: ready to be a boyfriend?!

My little boy has grown up! I put him in his solo tank this weekend and today when I got up I found he's blown his first ever bubble nest, Awwwwww.

I think he knows there are girls in the house now and he is ready to have a go at being a boyfriend.

I'm eager to try breeding so have been gathering information and reading so much about it. I shall keep a log of how it all goes and if anything interesting or curious happens I know I'll get lots of good advice from all you guys.

Bubble nests are also signs of territory and weather systems going through the area, etc. Definitely do tons of research, the costs are great and the hours a day are a lot of work. Good luck though!

Breeder so I have too many to count and too many named to list here!

Just an fyi, veiltails are harder to sell than most other tail types as they are not popular so be ready to A. Give them all to a petshop (if they let you) or B. Keep all the spawn which can be up to 500 unless you cull yourself. You'll have to cull babies regardless do to health.

Thanks for your replies, and tanks for the advice. I shall certainly be going in with my eyes wide open, if indeed I decide to go for it. It wont be for a while yet, my babies are too young and small I think and the last thing I want to do is to stress them out unnecessarily.
