i work in a nursing home. one of my units has 2 bettas in vases. she was finality was changing water.i told her i would take them i she wanted to get rid of them. she told me they were very hardy. that they were a year old all ready . that she would change water once a week.& dump them back in vases. makes me very sad she will not get rid of them ,as a resident bought one & she got one as a shower gift. will not listen to reason. what is the matter with some people?
i know where vases are kept. no place for tank. i've thought about it. alot. no place to run extention cords. just have to suffer. just hoping she will come to her senses and let me have them. sad thing is one of them was a shower gift.
Well maybe you could at least tell her how to do proper water changes? It really sucks when you just have to watch a betta suffer like that D:my friend keeps a betta in a really small "betta tank" and when she sees mine in a ten gallon she says that "it's bad for their fins" or "it scares them"
