I joined the IBC because I thought I'd get a link to all of the CURRENT, up-to-the minute color/fin types, and standards for exhibition fish.
Boy, I'm disappointed!
It's just a link to a billion articles that have been written since 1963, and a store that seems to be one person's individual business.
What is the value in this organization? Is there a source for one agreed-upon definitions of color & fin type?

Have you been invited to their yahoo group yet? They have their show standards in there. Takes a couple weeks to get the invitation sometimes, but once I had access to it I learned a lot quickly.

Not yet...

ooh, well once you get that e-mail with the invite you'll be able to see a lot more information.

As for the store, it doesnt really carry too much and is run by 1 person, but it is the IBC's store and the proceeds go to the organization. To me its worth supporting if there is something that I need to buy and they carry it.

Yes; I bought 2 water conditioners that I felt sounded great and were very reasonably priced. If I hadn't just ordered almond leaves from ebay, I'd have purchased those, too. Next time.
