What tail types are my ladies?

I am totally horrible with tail types on girls beyond crown, double, or single. Can someone lend me a hand in figuring these out?

Lillith - (the red girl) I -think- Delta, because of the "corners" on her tail.

Dulci - What type is she (color name would be awesome too)

Archi - VT or Plakat?

Dory - pretty sure she's a VT

And when you tell me what kind someone is, if you could explain why, I'd appreciate it... I'm trying to learn how to tell the difference. ^_^

Thanks!

I think they're all VTs because of the 2-ray branching in their caudals. Nowadays it's rare to see a traditional 2-ray Plakat (Chard56 has some). Everybody seems to be doing 4-ray HMPKs.

I really like that red-headed green metallic female.

That's Dulcinea ^_^

So, even with the corners on her tail, Lillith is still classed as a VT?

I'll try to get a better picture in a couple of minutes here, so the branching will be clearer for a more definite number of rays.

How many do Deltas have?

EDIT: I subjected my finger to Lillith's ferocity in the name of science lol

Hopefully those show her rays better so that they can be counted (I never caught on to that). I just want to know what to classify her as.

yea, she was in the community tank, and apparently none of the other fish liked her. Even our bristlenose was being mean and headbutting her. So now she shares the split with Mushu. This serves 2 purposes. To keep her safe, and keep him company since Jade was PTS. He panicked when she went "missing".

All veiltails and all gorgeous!! I especially love the red girl, wow is she awesome!!

One hand reaches out and pulls a lost soul from harm. While a thousand more go unspoken for, they say what good have you done? By saving just this one... It's like whispering a prayer in the fury of a storm. And I hear them saying... You'll never change things...

Thanks, Moonshadow. All except Archipelago (Archi) are Walmart girls, Dulci was in a dirty cup.

Thank you for your help and patience, Hallyx, I appreciate it!

I forgot to answer your question. Deltas are really just failed HMs. So they have 4-ray branching
