Question BBS Hatchery

Would it be possible to do a hatchery like this in an 8 ounce mason jar?

Also, how much eggs would I add? I bought the San Francisco Bay Hatch Mix that comes with 3 hatch mixes. If I open a pack, how could I reseal it for storage?

It should just guessing and put in a airtight container like a old jelly bottle or something and store somewhere dry about 1-3 teaspoons should be enough

1-3 teaspoons is way to much. Try a pinch or two.

For a bbs hatchery its nice to get a cheap hygrometer because of diifferences in both water hardness and salinity in tapwater it is the best way to get it right. It should read 1.023-1.027. At the price of brine shrimp eggs, it pays to get this exact and with better hatch rates.

Ok, thanks for the advice! I think I'll just start with a tiny pinch and see how that works out. They have hydrometers at the LFS so I'll pick one up
