I currently have a single betta but the more I look the more I want more ... I have a strict 5 gallon minimum policy and Finn is getting upgraded to a 10 gallon he will share with some snails and shrimp but really , Why is it so hard to keep just one? I have the same problem, and ended up getting a new one yesterday. I keep falling for the betta charm, but my bank account is not feeling the love!

Dixon : male CT
Dante: male doubletail HM
Coppertone: male Black Moor
Comet: female common goldfish

I have room for 2 more and then that is IT. I mean it! After that no more until someone else passes away. I'm taking my time deciding on the next 2.

I feel the same way. Right now I only have one but I have been scheming to get a sorority tank (which means 5-6 more bettas!!!). I only have the tank right now but I plan on hording supplies until I am ready to start it up. It's easier on my wallet that way and I don't feel guilty just getting one or two things at the pet store at a time >:D

My dad and I go to petco each week (He loves looking at the saltwater stock they have there) and I go straight for the bettas while he looks at the salties. I really want to get another(a moontail would be nice) and I kind of have the room now, it just need to divide the tank...
