Smile Crazy About My Betta

So I went out today and bought a 3-gallon tank (upgrade from the 1 gallon), a thermometer, heater, water test-kit, and filter for my betta, Merlin, and right now he's sitting in the cup I bought him in as he adjusts to the temperature of his tank. I'm hoping the filter/air bubbler (bubbler came with the tank) doesn't push him around (luckily, I can turn off the bubbler if that is too much water flow). But I can already tell he's excited about his new tank. He absolutely hates when I clean his entire tank and got agitated when I put him in his little cup to just clean his one gallon, so I know he'll be happy in the three gallon.

Just thought I'd post this in here since I really didn't know where else it would go! I'll try to post pics of Merlin in his new tank once he's swimming around!

That sounds like a great update! Good for you! If you want to slow down the airflow you can but air control valves.

I did turn down the flow of water (luckily the tank came with valves for the air tubes). He seems to enjoy his new tank, and I'm happy he's happy! :D

Watch out now, you'll be thinking "I can use this 1 gallon to get another Betta..."
Then you'll want to upgrade him. So you'll get a 10 gallon and divide it for your two bettas.
Then you'll think "But I shouldn't let this 3 gallon go to waste! And this betta is soooo pretty!"
And it goes on.

I'm actually in college and there is a limit on tank size. Otherwise I probably would do that XD
