Certainly! Although I hope none of my fish die any time soon! I love all my boys to bits! <---not literally -_-

But yeah, I do hope one day I can own a lovely giant! I really want a wild type sorority too or get some wild girls that I can throw into my sorority They're so pretty and would make a nice variation with the colors that I have in there ^^

I recently got back into VT's though, they're nice when bred properly and they hold their tail nicely. But of course all the ones you see at stores are generally clamped up and their colors aren't "nice" you know? That's why I never liked them but then I saw that there were other colors besides red and blue and that tri-color/cambodian deal and I was like "whoa! VT's can actually look nice??" lol

Yeah I hear ya! I wasn't a fan of Veiltails because they looked all clamped up in pet stores and just didnt seem exciting whatsoever. But when I came on this forum, I was proven wrong after seeing that quite a few people own some really nice looking Veiltails!

I think I've only seen one wild-type female in my Petco. They seem kind of rare...as far as pet stores go at least. I'm sure someone breeds them. Definitely would be a nice addition to a sorority though! Without a doubt!

Yup, Setsuna breeds them and they recently had some pairs being sold off if you can find it in the For Sale section! Pretty cheap too, wilds can get pretty pricey sometimes >.<

And if you do see wild types at a store, generally they're hybrids so they're not full wild. There are seven types within the "Splenden" category which are all bubble nest breeders and can be bred together. But there are also many other types of Betta's like mouth brooders and stuff like that.

Yeah I saw these two VT's one was full bodied red with half red fins and half of it was cellophane with a slight blackish edging to the tail (wasn't rot) and god that thing was gorgeous! The other was a Mustard gas VT which is my weakness lol My avatar is proof but man...I was bout ready to turn criminal and steal that thing!! haha
