For those of you who didn't see my last thread, I rescued a betta from walmart after finding him in a cup with another betta for the second time. (Some cruel person has been frequenting my local walmart)
And for those of you who did see my last thread, I wanted to let you know how he is doing. Now he is doing much better and I have moved him into a 2.5 gallon with a heater. His fins are begging to grow back and he is much, much more energetic than before. Someone in my family has agreed to take him and given him the name Sheldon. (We both watch the Big Bang Theory) They are planning on moving sometime in the near future, so until after their move I will be keeping him.
Anyone who wants to see how he was when I got him and how he looks now can look at his album.
This is so wonderful to hear! Just when I though that the Petco her was getting bad... (they do an ok job... I guess). I want to thank you for Sheldon and I love seeing this kind of posts. I'd love it if you would keep me/us updated!
You don't really have to thank me, I just couldn't stand to leave him there. Whoever did it was so persistent that I was afraid of what he would look like the next time I came back. I've been back to walmart lots of times and haven't seen it again, so I'm hoping maybe they stopped, hopefully. And I'll definitely keep updating on his condition.
He's lovely! I just rescued one in the same circumstance.
Thank you, he reminds me of my very first betta who was the same colors .
The one you rescued was from another walmart?(Unless we happened to go to the same one?) Either way, it's a little sad that I'm not surprised that more people are doing the same thing to the poor bettas in stores.
