Why do people look at me as though I've grown two heads when I mention that I have three Bettas? Three isn't that much, especially compared to the number I'd love to have... Of course I do realize that these people are either not fish keepers or have only ever had one Betta but still. I think they are the strange ones!

Oh and I've also gotten "Why do you care so much, they're just fish!"

Momma to three male bettas, two cats, and a dog!

I know what you mean I have gotten comments like that all my life because I have always owned quite a few pets at once. I feel really sorry for the people who don't know the feeling of really caring for a betta or any other pet for that matter. I have gotten the "there just animals" comment alot. There all really missing out!

I have 4, and would love to have more, but these 4 are stressing me out between several illnesses I've had to treat. One thing I did decide is no more rescues. I love my rescue girl, but It's been 2 weeks of me coming home every day wondering if she will still be alive.

Also if they could just all get along in one tank, it would be much cheaper and I would have more :P
