Does my betta look healthy?

Hi! I'm new here. I've had my Betta for about a year now and feel that I take decent care of him. Frequent water changes, he eats flakes with little dried brine shrimp in it. He's in a one gal tank but I'm getting a 2.5 or 3 gal soon. I put water conditioner in it when I change the water. He's my first fish and just want to make sure that he looks good to people who really know what to look for. Sometime his tail fins get little clumps at the ends but I don't know if that's from being torn or what? The plants in there are soft. Thanks for any and all advice. This is my first time on a fish forum so I also don't know all the lingo or abbreviations. Thanks again!!

His fins look really strange to me... but that could be because I haven't seen that many crown tails

Oh ok. Thanks. Is there another area of the forum that would be better to post this?

When I look at other bettas with that tail I feel like Aqua's (bettas name) are too thin. I don't know though.

Post it under the betta care or the disease and emergency section
