Spades

My big plan used to be to breed quality spades but i havent been able to find any. So im trying to figure out where to find spades or how to create a spade through other tail types. i can work onquality but the big thing is finding spades of any kind. any help would be appreciated.

Spade tail are usually called veil tail for generalization

the only thing id like to figure out is how to make the spade point more defined. i know theyre a form of veils, so the base of the tpye is veils but how would i make them have more spade shape without minimizing the spread of the fins.

Breeding them. Cull. Rebreed. Cull and so on until you get what you wanted

I've seen/heard that when breeding a VT and an HM, it will make the base of the tail round, and it will come to more of a point and look like a spade. This mya or may not be true. This is what makes sense to me.

a friend showed me this, to me this guy has the perfect shape for a spade. id really like to find one similiar to him. im not neccessarily comfortable importing at this time of the year with the temps weve had lately, so i may just have to wait until next year :/
