What is my betta's color?

His body is a mix of brown, red and blue. His fins are red, royal blue, purple, electric blue, black tipped and white tipped. Sorry if the pic is blurry. Camera was stolen and using phone.

I'd call him a wild type coloration, commonly seen in, well, wild type betta's lol. The white tips are just fin regrowth, black tips sound more like fin rot to me. He looks a little skinny, perhaps bump up his feeding a little!

No his fin tips have always stayed white in this spot. I've dealt with fin rot, but his black tips stay the same never changing. I've looked to see if it tears or shrivels or even spreads. Plus his top fin has black speckles. It looks like pepper. Again, this never changes. His eating has picked up. I used to feed him 3 pellets twice a day and he'd eat about 1a day. Now, he eats 5 or more twice a day.

Sounds good to me! :) Yeah, I had a Double Tail wild type colored Betta before with immensely dark black tips to all his fins, it was extremely difficult to see if there was any fin rot on him lol. So I know how that goes. Glad he's eating more! That's great.

Because it's hard to tell if he has fin rot, I watch his fins.

Yup, I used photo's to compare to see if there was growth or if it shrunk over time. It was also hard because he was a heavy rose tailed DT as well lol

This betta is a good enough reason to make up a new color!
