I just found this vey evil pic on google. The betta is too pretty too be in this situation.

You've never seen bettas in a vase? I agree it is cruel, but many people don't understand what bettas need to survive more that a month.

tis sad... poor thing... and it looks like the betta was sold with that vase and flowers imo...

I've seen a lot of bettas in vases with plants (at doctors offices, dentist offices etc) and before I heavily researched them years ago, I had no idea that it is a horrible arrangement. I think it's just a lack of research and lack of wanting to know more about these wonderful fish.
