Looking for Bettas

I'm looking to buy some bettas, and my first choice is to buy from bettatalk, but Faith isn't selling any of her stock at the moment =[ Does anybody know some breeders who live near Los Angeles?(I want to pick up locally) I'd like to buy from aquabid, but shipping alone costs $30 =[

Also, are there any betta shows/conventions around LA?

shipping is alot higher then $30 on aquabid, once you add all of the taxes and import fees, box fees etc.. Cost me $47 to ship two fish. I don't think I would ever use that transhipper again..but still very pricey.
There is a really good breeder in Orlando, he sells on aquabid, and usually does free priority shipping. He has beautiful fish. His name on aquabid is orlandoguy.

Spiderfish-wild VT

St. Elmo's Fire- unknown colored CT
Sully-Light blue SDT
Henry- Orange rosetail HM
Houdini-mg CT
Cyrus-marble HF
The girls: 1 combtail, 1 halfmoon, and 5 crowntails!

There's a couple Betta clubs in California.. one is in San Francisco and I can't remember where the other is. There's quite a few betta breeders in CA and shipping wouldn't cost too much in the same state.

Thanks for the quick responses guys, really appreciate it! But unfortunately, these breeders dont have any betta that I'm looking for. Does anybody else know of any breeders in the LA area? :D

I'm looking for a Red Butterfly double tail or halfmoon, but if that's not possible I wouldnt mind looking through different options. I'm open minded :]
