RIP Nāga 10/21/09 - 04/19/10 :(

He was such a good boy. Never chewed his tail, always wanting attention and food. I guess it's as much my fault as anything. After an incident with a previous betta jumping (thankfully we were in the room and put him back in his tank right away) all my tanks have been as covered as possible. Nāga's was no different. It was covered except for a 1/2" strip at the front and it was this strip he somehow made it out of the tank through. I found him on the floor yesterday morning. I put him back in water immediately hoping he hadn't been there too long because he was still somewhat damp feeling (not a crispy chip). But alas it was too late
I only had him a short while.. he arrived March 10th. I feel as though I've failed him. I don't understand why they jump :( The tanks will be 100% well covered from now on though.

You will be missed, my little dragon boy

Oh no! I'm so sorry. :( Don't blame yourself, these things happen. I have no idea why they jump.

Damn these fish are nuts sometimes!!

I'm so sorry you lost him. He was a beauty.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
