Would you trust buying your fish online?

So in this small town in the UK, we are very limited to the types of bettas we can buy and most shops don't even stock them. I have found a number of beautiful fish on ebay and was wondering if anyone would actually use this type of website to buy their fish? Also if anyone in the UK has had success with betta on ebay UK then please let me know =)

Diolch yn Fawr =)

I wouldn't trust ordering a live animal online anyway...to paranoid of it being killed before it arrives.

Wouldn't the fish die before even reaching your house? I know some mailing companys have employee's that just toss the box's around...I'm sure a betta wouldn't enjoy that.

I know people who have had success with aquabid, but I personally do not trust most things online. If the shippers know that they are handling live animals, they are usually more careful, so you shouldn't worry too much about that.

I'm sceptical about it, thats why I wanted to get other peoples opinions first. The fish I like on Ebay are in England so its not terribly far for the fish to travel but its the case will postal workers handle the package with care.

I wouldn't buy fish from ebay- there are so many scammers there.
Buy from either aquabid, or a breeder- I've bought two fish from a breeder and they're both gorgeous and healthy, no problems.
