It usually takes me about 2-2.5 hours to completely clean out and refill my eight 2 gallon tanks, then about ... 45 minutes to do the remaining 3 the next day. I`m always so much more... into tank cleaning on the first day. xD
Yup, everyone`s said it. Know your limit. If you can handle more, go for it!

Just a quick note, buy the tank that has large width but depth. Due to Betta likes to take the oxygen from the surface of water, having too deep of tank would make him rushing the surface and uncomfortable.

Thank you :D Just got a bit of "pay" for helping out around the house- certainly enough for one or two bettas and a cave and some gravel. I have tanks and a heater.
Hehe, can't wait to go to the pet store now ^-^

The only thing I hate about betta-keeping is that it's addicting. I have an urge to go the the store and buy that orchid female I saw, but I don't want to get one before school is over. Too many exams, and I have enough work with Spiridion, as it is.

Yep, the fish equivalent to potato chips. :D
But I have an excuse to get one... or..... two.... I have to find the right girl for Spiridion. Mwahahah.
