I prefer the styrofoam because if a heavy box were to fall on a foil lined box it could easily be crushed.

This should be a sticky.

Also what kind of heat packs are used?

I use Uniheat heat packs

http://www.bigappleherp.com/Heat-Packs

You can get them in 40, 60, and 72 hour varieties. I always prefer the 72 hour because in the event something does happen the fish will be warm for 3 days at least. However, I will not ship priority unless it's warm enough because there's not a guarantee that it will arrive in 3 days.

And thanks :) Alex was a gift for my Mom (which is why I was packing him in the first place). Unfortunately he died a few months ago, I believe he had a tumor but I'm not entirely sure because I wasn't there to look at him. My mom was devastated. I've been trying to find another red dragon for her ever since.

I've switched to styrofoam because of that reason and that foil is expensive O.o I use UniHeat as well. I like 72 hours because they last for a long time (I had one last 5 days) and they don't get super hot.

Who am I? Well I am a Junior Member of the International Betta Congress and a breeder of white HMPKs, red dragon HMPKs, black/red dragon HMPKs, metallic multi HMPKs, blue masked HMPKs, and now multi color HMs. Soon to add black HMs. I will be showing in New Breeder class in fall of 2012.
