Opinions please?

I have two CTs that are very sensitive to my water, one more so than the other. Their tails curl and disintegrate if the water is not 100% pH and hardness-wise. I am planning on moving them around since they are n separate tanks and it would be easier to maintain h2o quality for them in just one tank.

I have two options, and I would like your opinion/input on them. Currently I have a 3 gallon eclipse, 15 gallon divided 4 ways, and a 10 gallon divided 3 ways.

1. I can put them both in the established 10 gallon with another one of my guys.

2. I have an empty 5.5 gallon that I can set up and split in two for just those two guys. This would leave me with two other open slots if I find any fish during my summer work at Petco (evil laugh hehehe).

Can anyone see any advantages/disadvantages to either of these? The only things I can think of is putting them in the 10 gallon, I wouldn't be adding any tanks to my tank "load". But starting up a 5.5 gallon would make it easier to care for those two and their special needs without having to worry about anyone else in with them.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks! (or 'tanks'?)

I'd do the 5.5 since they have such specific needs.
