filters with integrated heaters???

THERMOFILTERS: anyone know these???? they sound awesome!!!
filters with built in heaters but why discontinued???

discuss! would you spend that much money though???
but for small tanks it would save room and less cables! id defo buy one!

strato multi color CT
edward royal blue HM (at foster home)
henriette blue crayfish

It really sounds great. Less stuff in the aquarium and less cables to hide.
BUT if the filter broke you couldn't just replace that and viseversa with the heater.

My friend with a 60gal has one she got with the tank off craigslist. It works amazingly! Keeps the tank at a comfy 75deg and hides the heater (I'm always worried that one of the fish will run against it and get burned or something). Very true that the bummer is if the filter fails, you lose the heater as well. I'd still try one, especially for a bigger tank. =)
