Whiskey the filter bum

Whiskey's hex filter isn't very strong and the flow is pretty slow. He's always letting himself get sucked up against the intake and hanging there like a lazy bum. It's not strong enough to suck his tail in, it just holds him in place. I find him draped over all kinds of stuff, just lazing about. He finds spots that the filter pushes him against and he drapes. He's energetic enough if he thinks food is coming but other then that, he can be about the laziest fish bum I've ever had.

LOL. I've got a few like that too.
They mostly drape over the top of the thermometer behind the suction cup.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

I have some that do that as well, not really sure why but I often thought that maybe the water movement massaged them some and it must feel good or they wouldn't do it...you would think anyway.....maybe its like a little spa or something......laffs.....

Yeah; that's what i was thinking. Lucky likes to "sleep" on the filter intake suction thing. xD

So I don't have the onliest bum. Lol! That's good to know. Oldfishlady, maybe you're right about the spa feeling! I never thought of that.

Fishy does that, he'll let the filter intake suck him to it and he'll just chill there! It freaked me out the first time but he does it all the time and he's ok so I guess it's not a big deal
