I honestly don't know of one person on this forum keeping wilds. I think there was one user but I haven't seen him on in quite a while.

yea but i just need a female, so paying shipping for overseas isnt worth it for just one fish.

Hmm.. I need to read more about them. Do you think I could put them in a 55 with some other fish? I was going to try Cichlids out in the 55 but hey.. you don't come across wilds everyday.

Honestly though I probably wouldn't be able to get any for another year at least.. nothing bigger than 10 gallons in the dorm (lucky for me they didn't say how many ). Hopefully next year I'll have an apartment to fill with fish.

If you ever want some splendens let me know. I've got multis growing right now and a marble pair about to spawn. Doing marble HMPK this fall/winter *hopefully*

ETA... what about the guy .. mark somethingorother.. from Anubiasdesign? I think he deals with the species maintenance program with the IBC and he's in FL. He might know where you could get a female in the US.
