Talking Future bettas, I am getting them

Okay I probably will get 2 new bettas for my birthday so I need plans. I think I will set it up like this:
get a 10 gallon tank and divide it into 3 sections, plant them well, get some decor and a filter. ALSO A HEATER and a THERMOMETER.
I will get a red male and a tiny girl. Hope to name them Thermo(dude) and Pearl (girl). Like this idea? I am also going to cycle it so how much would I clean it? Help!

Hello, it's Frogipoi. If you need any help, fonts, or pixel bettas, please PM me. Thank you and good day.

That all sounds pretty good! Have you read about cycling?
My sister cleans her 10 gallon about once every month-50% change with a siphon-but I don't know if that's enough.

You can't really do 100% water changes in a 10 gallon-it's too big. Just keep that in mind, you'll also have to get a siphon.

For the health of your fish, a 30%-50% water change should be done weekly. More or less depending on your stock load.

Okay. I put an anubia in my 2.5 gallon tank. My fish flares at it. This Saturday we are going to finally cycle it. Got the good ammonia with carbon and an ammonia test kit. Anything else I need? I got 45$ and saving up for betta stuff for the future bettas I'm getting for my B-day if my mom really thinks I can. XD
