We Love To Talk To Bettas...It's something only a fish keeper and/or a betta fish addict would understand. :T

Yeah... whenever my dad comes in my room and I'm talking to my fish, he's like... "Carlie... what... are you doing...?"

Lol, you guys stick your hands in the water a lot. I don't unless I have to, usually only during tank cleanings. But Ty and I have staring contests and follow the finger around the glass games that we do. Usually I just say 'hello' or 'wake up sleepy head' in the morning when I turn on the light. I mostly talk to Bandit about his fishy brother. :)

That's cute SK!
I usually talk to them about how they are the Best fish in the world, tell them my problems, talk to them about random stuff, Etc.

Cameron likes to play "what in God's name are you holding up to my face this time?" ... I usually like to find colorful objects and kind of "direct" him around his tank with it from the glass. I move it, he follows.

Winston's pretty passive, and is not a big game-player, but he does give me the occasional fish-face.

Tifa plays "staring contest" with me... He always wins. His lack of eye-lids seems to be the trick.

Damian... he's my newest so I haven't quite figured out what he likes yet.

And Nina and I have regular finger chase sessions.

Finger chase is the staple of our relationship. Don't mess with the finger chase. :)

I just play finger chase and I some times stick my finger in the water and take it out and do that for awhile to kinda tease them. With my old bettas I use to drop a button into their bowl/tank and it would float around and they would flare at it. I don't do that anymore beacause I don't know where the button is. I don't think I talk to them. If I do I think it's not that much.

55 gallon planted tank, starting over!!!( looking crappy, needs a major rescape)
