Like I said, my bug has gone away for a while. I do like keeping up with everyone though so I decided I'd try to get on more!

I'm a little behind to pop in here :) But I agree the bug comes and goes, I think I've had an "off" stage about 3-4 times in the past year (yes I've only been doing the betta thing for a year, yet have been up to 13!) but am now in a middle stage :) Don't stress about it, just go with the flow :) Good luck!

I find that funny.. I have times when I'm frustrated with my fish (like over the summer when so many got sick and/or died) but I've never lost the "bug"... not in 5 years of owning bettas. There are days when I think doing water changes is cruel and unusual punishment and even days were just feeding seems to be a hassle.. but I still love my fish and still want to get on the boards and read articles and play flarey flare with my boys.

I just can't picture myself getting bored with Bettas LOL

Well it's not that I'm bored with them, per se... I guess I just don't have that fever to get as many as possible and buy more tanks and all that stuff. I love playing with my guys! and I don't really mind feeding/changing water, it is actually something I like (maybe cuz I only have 1 tank :P) but I could never be bored with them either :D

I get frustrated sometimes and don't want to do water changes too, but I do them and I feel much better. :)
