...That is so sad, I didn't know that bettas and other fish stay in stores for such a long time, it's surprising actually I thought people snatched them up pretty quickly. That makes me want to get all of the oldest ones there and take them home with me. :'(
Sometimes I do see sick fish at walmart, and petsmart seems better about it but every now and then I see dying dead fish. When I got my female, Autumn, there was a poor little betta that was dead in his cup. It was so sad. Actually, walmart is pretty bad about the care, they usually look healthy but if one dies they leave it there for the fish to pick on and eat....how gross. :/

That is great you gave her a home! I'd like to see pics of her too!
She's probably excited that you got her since you've been visiting her so much before. Fish most definitely recognize people. :)
