Dont buy random plants from petsmart/petco. Many are not even aquatic!

sorry.,.. my post was not clear. Random was definitley not the right word to use =P I did say I would do research no? Ok well heres my question now... I'm considering hornwort (planted in substrate not floating). Can I use that? Because it says light level medium and i'm not sure the l.e.d lights i have are enough. And it says 50 to 77 degrees... but my tank stays at 78. Am i pushing it with this plant?

I use silk plants because I don't have lighting...no complaints here! And usually I go the cheap route and buy silk plants from craft stores...muuuch cheaper. ;)

Can we see a photo of your tank?
