Post stupid beta

so my new beta ,murry is.... well there is no other way to put it stupid. he will constantly try to get under his decorations and rocks in his tank. i have to save him all the time because he gets cought under stuff. is there anything i can do?

Change to natural gravel. He can't get through it. He's not stupid he's just curious. Bettas love to explore.

Who am I? Well I am a Junior Member of the International Betta Congress and a breeder of white HMPKs, red dragon HMPKs, black/red dragon HMPKs, metallic multi HMPKs, blue masked HMPKs, and now multi color HMs. Soon to add black HMs. I will be showing in New Breeder class in fall of 2012.

Wow lol that's kind of bad. I have no clue, maybe anchor the decorations better, or take out anything he can get caught under? I'm not really sure!

i have tried that but he just pushes away all the rocks
i am so frustrated.

Do you have a cave or something in the tank that he can get into so he can hide and/or get out of the light?

Also-how is your water quality-what size tank, how much and how ofter are the water changes, additives used etc.....he may be trying to get away from something either parasite, ammonia, DOC's or light....etc.......he may just be adjusting to the tank too...how long have you had him and has he been doing this from day one or is this new behavior?

He has a cave pot thing
he is in a 5 gallon all by himself
and he has been doing it from the start

How long have you had him, how much and how often are the water changes and when was the last one, filtration, live plants, additives used, water temp????

I have had him for 1 day and one night
i havent done a water change yet
he has a filter
the water is about 79 degrees fahrenheit
