Unhappy Help!!!

Why isn't my betta flaring? He never flares anymore, but he flared the first week I took care of him. Help!!!

Bettas, Bettas, BETTAS!!!

he could just be relaxed...or that is his personality..its ok for a betta not to flare

Yes, don't worry if he never flares. He may be used to his enviroment or he is just relaxed or...something. I'm sure he's fine. :D

the first week he was getting used to a new environment, now that hes calmed down its probably a good thing he's not constantly flaring. He might start doing it every now and again like my Kamau does, but really there's nothing wrong with him =)

I'm no expert but I think they flare when they're angry or prepared to fight. Mine flares when he sees his reflection in the glass!
