Marineland Steath = DANGER!

Browsing some forums this evening, I stubled upon this. Just want to let everyone know, would be horrible if this happened to someone tank.

I dont have that heater but now I am kind of scared of that ever happening to me. But hey, it may or may not be the company's fault. Under the right circumstances it may happen to any electronical device. Some kid had an ipod explode in his pocket - as for me, Apple products have never failed. I still have a functional iPod Video (the first ipod to be able to display video :o)

D: I've never had any issues with the marineland heaters, but I've heard bad things about that one, though this one is the worst yet.

Thanks for the heads up. I have one in storage right now, but I think if I can find my reciept, I'll return it.

Ohhh...That's scary... I think I might go and return my heater, or just replace it. I don't want for Euphie being cooked... =o

im not sure, but thats probably the one the thread is about. I personally did not have it happen. I use hydors. But I found the thread on that site and just wanted to share it with people here.
