Talking Reasons I Love My Bettas

I know I'm a betta freak when every surface in my dorm has at least 2 betta tanks on it. My boyfriend and friends think I'm crazy but they understand!

I love when people come to my room to look at all of my fish and they always ask me how I find the coolest looking bettas.. Its easy: you stalk the petstores and find out when their shipment comes in and then you snag the best ones!

I spoil every betta I have and it shows! They all brightly colored and healthy. Whenever I'm stressing over an upcoming collegiate horse show or stressing over exams, its nice to have my bettas keeping me company. Cleaning out their tanks is actually a relaxing process for me. lol

Bettas are such simple, inexpensive pets(compared to horses, at least! lol) and I get so much in return. They really do make my day sometimes. When I graduate in May and move into a new apartment, I'm taking my 6 boys with me, whether the boyfriend agrees or not! :)

Those are all the reasons I can think of so far, anyone think of any more? I know some people on here have well over 20 bettas, so I'm sure they have better reasons to love bettas!

1) they are packed with personality compared to most fish, and they respond to you.
2) Their colors are definitely unique. Few fish come in so many colors and different tail types.

They are so cute! Coming home to see one wagging happily to me cheers me up when I've had a bad day.

And, well, they are beautiful!
