Betta trouble eating

Hello!
I am new to this but my female veiltale Betta, Her Majesty, seems not to be able to mouth her pellet of betta bits.

I just got her last night and I have to break up the food so she can eat. She attempts to eat the bits but can't get swallow it.

She is pretty small, I'm guessing she's just a babe, but is this something I should be worried about?

Her Majesty Rose thanks you!

The pellets just probably need to be crushed into smaller pieces.
