Question HELP! getting sticky stuff off plant...

I recently bought a new fake plant for Lonnie, and when I peeled the label off the bottom, there is still glue there! I tried washing it, but it won't come off! how can I get it off? I know I definitely can't use soap. I have heard vinegar is safe, but I wanted to check. Thanks!

Yes, vinegar is safe. If the stuff doesn't come off if I were you I wouldn't use that plant, though.

Running it under hot or cold water loosens the paste too.

I don't think the sticky stuff is harmful so much...but someone on this forum I don't remember who (thank you to who ever it was btw) but to use orange peal to get the sticky/glue stuff off a tank I had got used and it worked wonders....I took the peal off a fresh orange and rubbed it on the glue residue and it came right off...a little elbow grease was still needed but it dissolved and was easily removed...awesome......
