Foggy water??

WHY IS MY WATER FOGGY? It was new yesterday, i added the fish in the evening and i came home from work today and the water is foggy :( I turned the filter back on to see if it would clear up, but it doesnt look like it is. Why is it foggy? Fishy doesnt look sick, infact he was argueing with his reflection when i came home!

Do you have gravel in your tank? If you don't rinse the gravel very throughly it can do that to the water.

it's a new tank? it's because of the bacteria now in the water.

and what do you mean "turned the filter back on?" do you turn it on and off? that is bad for the water quality especially if you're trying to filter your tank.

so how big is your tank? and i see you're new, so hello :)

The tank is 1.5 Gallons, and i turned it off last night because calcifer ( my fishie) seemed to be fighting the current. I rinsed the Gravol really good, and would it be from the bacteria stuff that the beta starter kit told me to put in?? and hello :D

Here i just took this picture with my iphone and you can see the foggyness. Is this going to make him sick? He doesnt appear to be affected by it.

Neon gravel = foggy water.
