Am i anthropomorphizing?

I decided to redivide my 10 gallon into 3 parts instead of 2 because I want another male, but I don't have money to get a new tank and heater. I'm now feeling guilty, as if my fish won't be as happy. I know they'll be fine, as long as they have plenty of hiding places, plants to rest on, clean water, and food. So is this guilt I'm feeling just me? They seemed a little miffed at first, but now they seem to be getting used to it. I decided not to wait to divide it until I have bought another Betta, since I want them to get used to it. They're only going down from 5 gallons each to 3.33. Logically I know they'll be fine, but tell my heart that. /ramble lol

I don't have all the plants I need for the new section yet. But I will be getting them at the beginning of February. I might not get a new Betta for a while though. I'm going to wait for the perfect Betta to show up. lol

They should be fins. I have my 2 10 gals divided into 3 parts. I even have a group of 3 females living together in one of the sections. They are doing awesome too! Yours should be fine, and bringing home a new betta is always awesome. I had to make sure not to pull into petco today to look at their new stock. Its was hard for me XD

i thought about dividing two tens into three, but my boys are so different in personality, and one boy is ill, so i didn't wanna stress him too much. i'm sure your boys will be fine. they don't seem to mind going from big tanks to smaller tanks as much as we think they will.
