I didn't know that the really metallic ones were called dragons. The one shown in the picture is beautiful! I love the pink color.

I'm not sure if all metalic ones are dragons or not, just the ones my LFS carries are, but dragons can come in many different colors, just search for dragon in www.aquabid.com to see the varieties.

Thank you!
The benefits of getting more comfortable with your LFS and asking if you can dig through their box of surplus bettas that they don't have room to display yet! :D

I went through like...50 betta to find this guy. LOL. And I definitely didn't expect to come home with a fish.

My guy only gets in about 20 at a time so no digging , went there today and he only had 4 left, crowntails and veiltails, the dragons and plakats were gone.

Awww. D: Well at least they get those quality metallics and stuff. There's still a lot of more common ones at my LFS. They sell enough since they're in a big city, so they have a lot. I love going up there. Just wish it wasn't a 30 minute drive. My car has the worst gas mileage right now. :C

I find it strange that it's not possible to get a blue dragon variation thus far.

Especially since the cellophane fins my dragon has are very blue. Though he doesn't count because his body isn't, too.

What I'm wondering is if it's possible to get my male's fins to eventually apply to a blue bodied fish. o: Though I don't think cellophane counts. BUT DARNIT IT'S CLOSE. :c
