Scare of my year (so far)

I saw Wraith spazzing out in his tank and I went over to see what was up and it looked like he'd gotten his face caught in a meat grinder. He was flailing around, I couldn't see an eye. I couldn't make out one whole side of his face. I thought it looked like a chewed piece of blue gum. Then he went... Ptoooooey! and spit out the giant snail body he'd been trying to wrestle and swallow. It was dark blue/black, just like he is and it had been covering almost his whole face it was so freakin' big. I was yelling... "OH my god you lunatic! That snail is as big as your head!!!!" and he was chasing it around the bottom trying to eat it. I got it out of there.

All this time I've been wondering where he's getting cuts on his face. I guess it's from snail shells. I knew he sucked the small ones out from time to time but I've never seen him take on a snail the size of a dime.

It was so darn big it covered half his face! Doesn't he know how big his own mouth is? He was really giving it full effort. He looked like a shark, whipping from side to side and all. I thought he was in death throes or something. When I was trying to get it out (you ever try to get a slimy snail body out of a tank with tweezers?! Impossible!) he was chasing it and trying to grab it from me. Clearly he learned nothing from my tirade.

Lol.
It's not funny when you are scared something really bad happened, but when it turns out everything was okay, it's kinda funny.
That poor snail. But so great it wasn't what you thought it was.
