Talking neighbours cat nearly made Apsolem into breakfast

odd i know but i woke up this morning at half past five and the neighbours cat was looming over my tank looking for breakfast! i couldnt believe what i was seeing so i turned the light on and all hell broke loose when it made a dash for the window. fortunatly everyone is present and accounted for and none the worse for wear but it was quite something to wake up too. i hope it doesnt come back tonight!

the weird thing is im not sure what woke me as i usually only get up at 7. it explains why my food container was on the floor when i got home last monday and why Apsolem is so into hiding. before i left on friday i closed the windows so he couldnt get in. its not the first time he's come to visit the first year i stayed there he came in as well and woke me up to have a word with me before leaving hehe gave me the fright of my life that night too

My own cat, Miss Priss, has a fascination with my tanks. When I first brought Quinn home, she decided to see what the new thing in my room was. I was in the kitchen, cleaning out a bigger tank (he was in a half-gallon temporary jar), when I heard something hit the ground and Priss bolted out of the room. I'm not sure what happened, but Quinn was fine and in full flare, my lamp had hit the ground, and Priss is deathly afraid of bettas ever since. She likes drinking out of the filters though.

I'm sure I'm going to have the same problem with my cat Bailey. He is one of those cats that is just naturally naughty. He has looked at the empty tank and has tried to paw the plants through the glass. Goodness knows what he will think when I get my fish tomorrow

I had a cat eat one of my bettas. I was horrified to come home to a soaking wet carpet and a missing fish. Some how she was able to knock the tank off my bookshelf. I still don't know how she did it, the tank was pretty heavy. The thought of my poor little guy being munched on . From that day on my bedroom door stayed closed. Darn cats!
