Mesuring Conditioner

Ok so I was just wondering, the water conditoner that I use is mesured by 5ml/10g. How would I get that down to 1 gallon? Sorry, this is kind of a stupid question, but I just want your opinion.

To be honest, I'd get a new kind that measures in drops, or at least smaller amounts! That way you wont under or over do it. You can figure out something by doing a 1 gallon jug w/that amount and figuring out what fraction of that gallon translates into what you need... It gets complicated D:

Oh what have I gotten nmyself into this and WHY in the world did I listen to those idiot fish store people???

I'm just asking because I need to put P.J. in QT with aquarium salt. I can't keep taking water out of the tank for obvious reasons. Sorry to be nagging but I was looking to put him in the salt tonight....

I use a baby medicine dropper to measure the conditioner. You can find them in the baby setcion at the drug store. You'll need one that measures down to .5ml

Yes 5/10=.5 so it's .5ml per galon. I have one I think I got from my nieces fever medicine that measures from 1/4ml to 1ml but I have seen them at the drug store too. Also syringes will have those smaller measurements, I have one that goes down to .1ml which I use to measure Prime conditioner.

^^^That.

And silly, you dont fill up ten gallons worth, you use a single gallon and take a portion of that water :P But the dropper is a better idea.
