Here's hopeing.....

....I don't come home with a betta tomorrow. I want one, but I don't have room for one at the moment...

I was asked by my mom if I could put 3 females in the 1.5 tank, I said no, that its 1 inch of fish for every gallon.
It would be awesome if I found a 3 gallon tank at the thrift shop tomorrow...for...like...cheap.....>.> I'll have to look....I may do that while my grandmother reprices stuff in her booth, I've seen tons before, rounding around $10-$40 depending on size, and what it has. usually has the basics, rocks, filter, heater, decoration or two.

What are your stories when you went to a petstore and came home with a betta they weren't supposed to? :P

three females in a 3 gallon is still asking for trouble. i've always heard, that if you keep three females together, the two more dominant ones, would bully the third, then, each other. you'd be better off, looking for a 10 or 20 gallon, and getting two more girls to have a sorority, or just keep the three in separate tanks.

Never said I was getting 2 other girls, I was just sharing a question my mom had asked me, I told her something pretty close to what you said though. I'd rather have a 10-20 gallon sorority, I looked at the prices for 10gal tanks and equipment and kits today, its cheaper then I thought....lol...
