Littlebittyfish, have you tried some aquarium salt to accelerate their recovery? It's pretty awesome that you adopted the ones with fin rot. Makes me want to help a few.

I think i'll do that next time. I just added the whole lot because i'd already prepared the water with the conditioner in my big bucket. Maybe next time i'l just add the conditioner to the tank after the water is in.

just did my first big water change since learning the proper way to do things, had no idea just what a drastic change it would be, it's barely at 70 degrees, he'll be sitting in his cup for a bit longer until I don't have to worry about him going into cold shock

Did my first 100% for my tailbiting boy, and the water was perfect at about 79 degrees (normally 78), but I have to admit it was nice not having to worry about getting my hands wet!
