I'll definietly talk with my parents about getting adjustable heaters. We need ten watts or 7 watts specifically because the tank size is 1.5 gallons.

After the scare last night with the fact I plugged in the wrong heater...(Thank god Akira-kun is okay. He's been doing his wiggle dance all morning.) The tanks temp is back to 81. I'm going to get a new heater for both tanks and get my money back on the pre-sets.

I'll take a look at some of those. I think I'll need to have a serious talk with my parents about getting new better heaters that are adjustable.

some people don't think bettas need heaters. they're tropical fish, though. just explain to them, that the swinging temperatures caused by no heater, and non-adjustable ones, can make them sick.

We learned that the hard way with our late duo. Akira's doing well right now but the water in his tank evaporated some. We are thinking of trying to return one of them and get it replaced so the switch won't be so bad. The one in his tank is staying until we can get a different one.

(My baka dad however insisted we throw out the boxes claiming the store won't take them back.)
