Can I keep 2 females together?

I am new to fish keeping. I have a 60 litre tank with 9 platys, a mixtures of males and females.

I have purchased one female Betta online after reading that she would be ok with Platys. The thing is now I've seen another female Betta I like. Can two even go together in the same tank?

I have read that it is best to keep them alone, or in groups of 4 or more. Otherwise they tend to pick on or gang up on one of them. Someone correct me if I am wrong though! I have no experience with females. It also may depend on the size of your tank. Make sure you are not overstocked :)

I would say have a female solo or put in at least 5. If I am correct a 60L is 15-16 gallons. Those platys get up to 2-2.5 inches each so at most add the 1 betta female. You will have to watch your water quality though as it would technically be overstocked if you follow the 1 inch of fish per gallon. You should just get a 10G tank and put in 5 or 6 betta females! :)

19 males all but 1 in 5 gal tanks
1 giant in a 16 bowfront
52 female sorority, 15 raspboras, 6 corydora sterbia and BN pleco in a 72 gallon

Other tanks - 135 gallon african cichlids, 48 breeder SA cichlid, 30 gallon hex goldfish, 30 gallon community fish and shrimp tank, 12 gallon hex growout

2 Chihuahuas, 2 1/2 lab 1/2 weim dogs and 2 cats
1 Husband and 1 3 year old princess

I just love chihuahuas! My husbands hates them because they only really like me. Lol! They tolerate him a little bit. One is 8 (grumpy old man) and the other is a little over a year. The younger one is actually a mix with something unknown. We got her at the SPCA. She is pretty stupid but very loving. Haha!

Yeah my 15 year old is a boy and grumpy as hell lol. He's totally blind now too. I did have another boy up till he was 10 but sadly he had to be pts because of liver failure. Now I have two girls too. They are one and two. Cookie my boy is long haired Lola is long and Tillie is short haired. I love Chis to bits. Had them since I was 17. I've just taken up tropical fish keeping and loving it.

Do you think a zoomed betta log would be a good addition to give my betta a place to hang out? I have a log in the water at the bottom too but I read that bettas like it at the top.
