I was holding a mirror up to get Hyperion to flare (which he never does) and Tythes (my female) flared instead. I tried it a 2nd time and, just like before, she flared. why is my girl so aggressive and my boy so not aggressive?
(I still love them of coarse)
Please respond... I think my fish are having a sort of identity crisis.

Ichi never flares. ._____o not even the "spread out the fins only" flaring. he just.... looks at his reflection. Cup, however, will RAM the tank wall sometimes. >.>; scares the crud outta me. it depends on the betta. :3
Location: You ever heard of a little place called Texas?
Some just don't want to fight like Luimeril said "it depends on the betta" my sisters doesn't always "fight" his reflection. But someday's he's a tiger!!! It could possibly mean that he's sick. Animals who are sick or hurt don't pick fights in fear of being injured further. But I'm no doctor.
