I should have named Logan "Killer"

A little while ago I heard a loud banging, scratching scuttling sound in Logan's tank and looked in time to see a snail falling and him chasing it. He left it there. Move forward half an hour and it's water change time. I see the snail where he left it. It's shredded but that's not the crazy part. I pick it up and it's shell is cracked open. He hit it so hard, he cracked it. Mind you it's a pond snail and they're thin but yeesh! He didn't even eat it all. Just killed it. Murderer!

I keep them in there for food anyway, betta novice, for my puffer in another tank. :) I guess Logan's going to have to be a no-food zone. I don't mind if he hunts and eats them but just ramming them and leaving them is kinda pointless. Plus it fouls the tank.

Haha! Sounds like my CT Oberon. He seems to think snails are the root of all that is evil. He killed the pond snail that was in his regular tank (pulled her right out of her shell). Then when we bred him we threw three nerite snails in the tank to help keep it clean and aid in the production of bity tasty things for the fry to eat. We thought they would be okay because they were a lot bigger than the pond snail. There is only one of the three still left!
