I made a fishroom :)

Out of one of my bathrooms - took the a/c vent in there off, and added a space heater and a metal shelf. So far there are just a handful of bettas in there, but WOW it was so easy to water change - I took a big 58 quart tub and filled it with conditioned water and a heater, so it's always the right temperture. I just had to grab the fish, dump the old water and put new in the tank! I'm tempted to put all my bettas in there lol!

That's very helpful!

My room is practically a store. Well, someone told me that.

Is the space heater approved for agricultural use? Seriously, please keep yourself safe while enjoying your hobby!

I agree with DragonLady. Keep safe!

Sounds really cool. I would never give up a whole room for betta's, now atleast. That opinion will have to wait but yeah. Goodluck and have fun!

I doubt the heater is approved for agriculture use, it is just a normal space heater. It kicks on and off all day and night. As long as it kicks off, I'd think it's ok? Obviously I'm missing some sort of danger though, so please enlighten me?

The fish in my avatar is a Thailand baby :) I got him in March.

Just be careful with the spaceheater. If it breaks down a fire could start. I used to use them in my house in winter-- and we were never allowed to leave them on while we slept for that reason.
