New fish maybe....

Well I went out and bought my sister a crowntail betta, which she agreed on and said she would care for. Well turns out she did not. I came home one day and there he was on the bottom of his tank dead. She had him maybe only for a month. And he did not show any signs of illness so I'm guessing the water got to hot or cold or over feeding of him. After thinking about it today, I kinda want to get another. This time I will do the water changes and feeding. Just to remind you my sister is 18 going on 19. But she has no motivation at all. She can't even pass her college courses or clean her room what was I thinking when I got her a fish.

But anyways, I told her to clean the tank out while I am at work. Hopefully she does. I was going to go to petco tonight for wax worms so I might take a look at the bettas. If I find a guy I like I may just get him.

The tank is a 2.5 gallon with a undergravel filter, heater, lid, light, 3 silk plants, a hide out, and gravel.

Here are some pics of it when my sisters fish was living in it.

And here is Wilbur (RIP)

Wilbur was a gorgeous crowntail. It's a shame your sister didn't properly care for him.

I say good on ya if you're willing to try again. It looks like a marvelous little tank for a new fish friend. Perhaps avenge Wilbur and get another crowntail. :)

No. If she won't take care of it, she shouldn't have the pleasure of one of these beauties. She needs to learn some responcibility
